Farke demands change from Leeds players ahead of new season

Ahead of the upcoming season, Leeds new boss Daniel Farke has demanded his players change their mentality to succeed in the Championship.

Farke was appointed on a four-year contract at Elland Road earlier this week. He has already began pre season training with the squad. But ahead of the new season, the German is demanding a change in mentality from the squad.

The 46-year old won the Championship twice with Norwich during his four year stay. He believes this Leeds team need to focus on winning in order to succeed:

“Winning has to become a habit more or less again. To create this attitude and this atmosphere will be quite important after pretty challenging times in the recent months and let’s be honest, the last two years were not that easy.

“We have to change mentality a little bit so that winning becomes a habit. The experiences of English football and especially at Championship level will hopefully help me to create this atmosphere again.”
