Flight booked as Premier League star expected to arrive to complete Leeds United deal

Leeds United bounced back from two defeats this past week, as they were able to get a result against Newcastle at Elland Road. The Whites have now gotten four points from a possible six at home.

The fans continue to provide an electric atmosphere in West Yorkshire which pushes the team on the pitch. Before the season began Daniel Farke asked the fans to make Elland Road a fortress once again, and it looks like they are delivering. Even after getting a draw against Newcastle, Farke is still pushing for the club to add serious recruits before the deadline.

When asked about possible arrivals, he hinted that one or two could be completed on Monday:

”We have allowed Largie and Isaac to travel for talks with other clubs. Not confirmed yet but we expect this will happen. My focus is to strengthen offence, how realistic, it makes no sense to give you a percentage but we’re looking forward to strengthen offence a bit more. If it’s one or two more we will see, whatever is possible. We want the best possible squad and everyone is working hard.”

Over the weekend, the number of players that have been linked with a move to Elland Road has skyrocketed. The Whites are looking at alternatives after failing to secure the loan deal for Brighton star Facundo Buonanotte.

Monday started with a bit of doubt, as many sources around the club were unsure who could be signed before the deadline. It has now been confirmed by Graham Smyth that Leeds are in talks to sign Fulham star Harry Wilson.

He is set to arrive in West Yorkshire later today to finalize a move.

One big update that Smyth added is that the wide player could be the final signing of the window for Leeds United barring any surprises. This all but confirms the news around this morning, where many sources indicated that it could be a slow deadline day for the club.

Booked the flight a bit early by the sounds of it as Wilson isn’t going anywhere

Seems like the 49s have missed the boat yet again. Of all the three promoted teams, they have had the easiest and longest time to bring in the best players but because the have one agenda, buy low, sell high, they failed to get the job done, Now it becomes a season of scratching for points to avoid relegation rather than consolidating a safe position.
