Leeds United won the title on the final day of the Championship. The club won the trophy in the most dramatic way possible, with Manor Solomon scoring a stoppage time winner against Plymouth.
Just a few days after the celebrations, multiple reports came out about Daniel Farke. They claimed that the 49ers were keen on replacing the German before Leeds played in the Premier League next season. But the news was shut down when club chairman Paraag Marathe publicly backed Farke to lead the team in the English top flight.
Now, the club can focus on getting quality players to Elland Road when the transfer window opens.

Former Premier League coach makes shock verdict about Leeds United boss

Despite having shut down the rumours, there have still been report behind the scenes about some coaches being contacted over the Leeds job. Mainz’s Bo Henriksen the most recent one.
Former Premier League manager Neil Warnock has now made a shocking assessment of Daniel Farke:
“I still think Daniel Farke could leave Leeds before the Premier League, because in my opinion he’s a Championship manager. I understand why it could happen and if I were the Leeds owners, I would probably make the same decision as well – he’s not a Premier League manager for me.”
Warnock then suggested that Leeds go for Fenerbahce boss Jose Mourinho.
”If the owners do replace him, then they need to go with someone who’s experienced and knows the league. Leeds fans probably won’t like me saying this, but I’d possibly be looking at the likes of Jose Mourinho. He’s not going to win them the league, but he’s knows enough about the league to keep them there. I think he’d be a good candidate to do that.”
Poor assessment from Warnock
Neil Warnock is wrong. Criticizing a manager who sent Leeds United back to the Premier League in two attempts is uncalled for. Especially this season, when the club lost close to £100million worth of talent.
100 points, promotion sealed and winning the Championship in the same season, is a feat that not many managers have achieved. Daniel Farke has earned his chance to coach in the Premier League.

Why do people give this coffin dodger air time. Whats his searing analysis based on? A season and a half with cash strapped Norwich that happened years ago?
