Leeds United have shown a brilliance in recent years to develop top tier attacking talent that both spears ahead their own ambitions but unfortunately opens the door for clubs to swoop in and steal them.
Right now, Leeds United are flying high in the Championship on the back of the likes of Willy Gnonto as well as Largie Ramazani who unfortunately is out for up to six weeks due to an ankle injury sustained in the 2-1 win over Watford where he scored within the first four minutes.
Ramazani was drafted in to replace Crysencio Summerville. Summerville starred for Leeds as they made it all the way to Wembley in the play-off final where they would heartbreakingly lose to Southampton. That defeat effectively spelt the end for Summerville at Elland Road with Premier League clubs coming calling after he secured the Championship Player of the Year award following his 19 goals in 43 games for Leeds last year.
In the end he was snapped up by West Ham United, and helped sack Manchester United manager Erik Ten Hagg with a goal yesterday (27th October).
But he was only the latest loved winger to leave Leeds United.

After helping Leeds United avoid relegation with a goal in the final game of the 2021/22 Premier League season and turning down a move to be Mo Salah’s understudy at Liverpool, Raphinha inevitably was tempted by an offer away from Elland Road, and joined Barcelona.
However, it seems his time with the Catalan club could be coming to an end. Over the weekend, we reported that Manchester United were plotting a swoop for the former Leeds United winger, who is still loved by fans.
However, they aren’t the only Premier League club interested in the winger. According to Football365, Champions League chasing Chelsea are also interested in the winger as are Newcastle United who are in desperate need of a natural right winger.
