The club is keen on adding some firepower this summer. The last couple of weeks have seen Leeds linked with big names like Callum Wilson and Jamie Vardy. AZ striker Troy Parrott was a target, but he made a huge declaration in front of his home fans that he would stay this summer.
Leeds could look outside England to sign a new attacker. Graeme Bailey has reported that the Whites are reviving their interest in Rennes striker Arnaud Kalimuendo. The club tried to sign him from Paris Saint-Germain in 2022.
The France U21 star had 17 goals in Ligue 1 this campaign.
What kind of striker is Kalimuendo?
The young French star is a modern forward. He can play as a striker, but can also operate out wide. His ability to get inside the box and score is very good at his age. Kalimuendo is a very dynamic option, he moves around the pitch often. And one thing he does a lot is shoot – he ranked in the top 10 percentile for most shots by strikers in Ligue 1 this season.

The only thing that could hold Leeds back from signing him could be the interest this summer. Kalimuendo is highly rated across Europe, and Rennes could demand a huge fee for the youngster. It would be a huge boost if Daniel Farke got to add him to the current attacking options.
