Gabby Agbonlahor continues to frustrate Leeds United fans with his comments over the past few weeks. His stance on the club’s promotion has always changed to the anger of the Elland Road faithful.
Despite his comments, Leeds continue to move forward. With three wins on the bounce, Daniel Farke’s men are perfectly positioned to seal Premier League promotion soon. Agbonlahor is not the first pundit to make outrageous claims against Leeds this season, but the club has continued to prove everyone wrong.
With three games to go, the Whites sit top of the Championship, and could even win the league title if results go their way in the coming days.

After making a comment that the Whites will bottle the league and fall out of the top two, he changes this stance and said that Leeds will definitely make the top two. This was over the space of a week.
Now, he has decided to anger Leeds fans once again with his comments. On the Talksport Breakfast show, Agbonlahor said he is happy that Leeds will be in the Premier League next season, as it is a benefit to his former club Aston Villa:
“Great if Leeds do come up, because it’s six points for Villa.”
Leeds take on Stoke City on Monday, knowing the result from the Burnley-Sheffield United game could seal promotion.

Aston Villa have never completed the double over Leeds United in the Premier League over the last five years. In fact, the Villans have beaten the Whites just once in that time span.
