Leeds United new boy Largie Ramazani has expressed his delight at hearing the Whites fans singing his name at Cardiff City on Saturday.
Ramazani made his first start for Leeds in Wales this weekend and marked the occasion by getting his first goal for the club in their 2-0 win over Cardiff City.
Leeds signed him towards the end of the transfer window and he already garnered praise for his cameo performance against Hull City just before the international break.
The winger has made an impact since joining the Whites and the Leeds travelling fans were more than happy to sing his name following his goal against Cardiff City over the weekend.
Leeds are banking on Ramazani coming good this season as they push to get promoted back to the Premier League following last season’s playoff final heartbreak.
Largie Ramazani admits the Leeds fans singing his name made him feel excited
With Crysencio Summerville leaving the club and Daniel James out injured, the onus is on Ramazani to adapt to his new club soon and make his presence felt.
He scored a good goal against Cardiff City on Saturday and received the appreciation of the Leeds fans through a song.
The winger admitted that he heard the fans singing his name and conceded that it is great that the supporters have already taken to him this early in his career as a Leeds United player.
“I think when I scored I heard my little chant”, Ramazani told LUTV.
“Gave me little goosebumps.
“It is incredible [to have the fans singing my name].”
Ramazani will hope to keep his place in the starting eleven when Leeds host Coventry City at Elland Road next weekend.
He came out of the Manchester United academy but eventually made his name in Spain with Almeria before returning to England this summer.
