Leeds unfortunately suffered a 3-0 defeat on Sunday evening, but things could have gone very differently had Rodrigo converted his early chance.
Rodrigo was gifted a brilliant opportunity to open the scoring early on following some brilliant play from Raphinha on the right-hand side. Sadly, Rodrigo smashed it straight into Alisson instead of finding the corner.
Gary Neville slammed Rodrigo for not showing more composure in front of goal. “Rodrigo gets this one wrong,” Neville opened. “He has to side-foot it towards that far corner and go for the accuracy. For some reason, he goes to put his laces through it”.
If Rodrigo had showed more composure, Leeds would likely have gone ahead and the rest of the game could have gone completely differently.
