Harrison believes Bamford will redeem himself after Leicester game

Leeds forward Jack Harrison has backed Patrick Bamford to bounce back after Tuesday night.

Leeds dropped two points late in the game after a Jamie Vardy equalizer. The Whites were in control of the game for most of the match before the second half. Harrison’s assist led to the opener after Luis Sinisterra headed home at the far post.

Late in the game, Harrison created a similar chance from a corner from the right. Marc Roca flicked the ball on and found Bamford completely unmarked at the back post, but the striker fluffed his lines. Harrison believes Bamford will redeem himself after the incident:

“It happens in football. It’s part of the game. It wasn’t just him, there were maybe some other people that had chances here and there,”

“Things we could’ve avoided, and there are always things we can improve on. It happens to the best players in the world so I know him as a person, he’s going to be looking forward redeeming himself on Sunday and getting another goal back. We’re all behind him.”
