Harry Gray has been knocking on Daniel Farke’s door for a Premier League debut through his consistent performances for the Under-21s. The Leeds striker turns 17 this month, and the club have cleared any fear that he could leave the club in the near future.
Leeds manager Farke has been clear about not wanting to discuss Harry in public until he makes his next senior appearance, as he is wary of the pressure getting to the latest product of the legendary Gray family.
The 16-year-old striker has been consistently scoring for the Under-21s, but has failed to add to the one senior appearance he made last season, as the Whites boss is not keen to rush his development.
Harry can only sign a new contract once he turns 17, and the Whites have been trying to ward off interest from Tottenham, who have his older brother Archie Gray in their squad.

The teenage striker has killed all the rumours of an early departure from Leeds by agreeing to sign his first professional terms with the club.
Journalist Graeme Bailey has revealed that a deal is done between Harry’s camp and Leeds, and he has signed on the dotted lines with the Yorkshire giants.
He turns 17, when the deal can be made official, and Leeds will announce the new contract next week, when he turns 17 on 8th October.
Bailey claimed that there is genuine excitement inside Leeds around Gray, and they are delighted that he has tied him down on a new contract.
“Leeds are very excited with Harry Gray. His new deal is done. They’ll be announcing that next week”, he told LeedsUnited.News.
“They are very excited by that internally, obviously.”
Gray is currently recovering from an injury he sustained this week, but could soon make his Premier League debut.
