Yesterday, Leeds United and Everton served up a classic as the Mighty Whites claimed their first point of the season after a difficult trip to Old Trafford last week. But how did social media react to Leeds’ draw with Everton?
Let’s start with the star man. Raphinha followed in the footsteps of Luke Ayling last week as he produced a wonder goal to level the scores at 2-2. He once again had people raving about his performance.
Raphinha is in the top 5 right wingers in the league, in my opinion. What a player he is and is going to be. If he isn’t Liverpool’s No. 1 target as a replacement/backup for Salah, I’ll be very surprised. Big clubs need to start looking at him now before his price tag booms.

On the other side of things, another Leeds United star was given a bit of stick from supporters. Liam Cooper gave away a controversial penalty and it had people questioning whether or not he’s Premier League quality.
How is Liam Cooper still playing in the premier league, absolutely toss

As much as i respect Liam Cooper he definitely isn't a premiership central defender, just doesn't have the pace required for the Premier League.
Yesterday's Penalty was totally avoidable he is now a liability at the back, if Llorente or Koch had been playing we would have won https://t.co/GVoTn9BP8k— Jason Normanton 🤍💙💛 (@PMProuk) August 22, 2021
That spot kick was just one of two controversial penalty incidents which went against the Whites. Not only were Everton handed that incredibly soft penalty, but Leeds themselves were denied a spot kick at the end of the game.

Leeds United should have been given a penalty in second half of their English premier league game vs Everton today cause Everton’s player pushed Patrick Branford in the penalty area before the referee blew the final whistle in Leeds United soccer game vs Everton l

That said, the Everton penalty did produce this hilarious moment as a Leeds fan tried to put Dominic Calvert-Lewin off.
