Leeds United will be up against a tough task this weekend when they host Spurs. Thomas Frank’s side have not been in the best of form ahead of Saturday’s game.
Tottenham have needed two late goals in the space of five days to rescue results. A late Joao Palhinha goal was enough to rescue a point against Wolves, and in midweek, they had to come back from two goals down in the Champions League.
Spurs are in the top four, and have lost just one game this season.

Leeds’ form this season has surprised a lot of people, including former Premier League star Chris Sutton. The former Chelsea man has recently spoken on the Whites, and how much of great job Daniel Farke is doing:
“Fair play to Leeds, they have really surprised and impressed me so far.
“There is a good balance to their team because they carry a threat and can dig in too.
“Apart from a heavy defeat at Arsenal, they have been competitive in every game so far and their good start would have been even better but for late goals against Fulham and Bournemouth.”
Sutton said he was part of the crowd who questioned Farke’s ability at Premier League level.
“Even so, they have got more points than I expected at this stage and Daniel Farke deserves a lot of credit.
“I think there were question marks over whether he could manage at this level because of his Premier League record with Norwich but, as I’ve said before, he never really had the squad there to be able to compete.”
Leeds United’s start to the season has been impressive
The Whites sit in midtable with eight points from their first six games this season. Leeds have had a better start than most anticipated, looking at their schedule before the game. So far they have faced top teams in Arsenal, Newcastle and Bournemouth.
Fans will be hoping the team can pull off another upset at home when they host Spurs this weekend.
