Leeds United got a huge result against Bournemouth over the weekend, but they will be kicking themselves over how the match ended. The Whites were once again on the receiving end of a late goal just like the game against Fulham.
Leeds conceded an early goal on the day, but just like against Wolves, they equalized and took the lead later in the game. The team had a lot of chances but could not convert infront of goal, with Dominic Calvert-Lewin guilty of missing a few.
It took a late free kick which was not dealt with in the box for Cherries defender Eli Kroupi.

Tim Howard speaks on Tyler Adam’s return to Leeds United
Tyler Adams returned to Elland Road for the first time since he left the club. The midfielder spent just one season at Leeds before moving to Bournemouth. Adams was not given the warmest of receptions on his return, but former USA international Tim Howard has defended the Bournemouth star.
On his Unfiltered Soccer Podcast, he said Tyler Adams would not be bothered by what happened on Saturday:
“Well, listen, I tell you who doesn’t care about this, Tyler Adams couldn’t care less. Because he’s the boss, and by the way, as a former Manchester United player, the Leeds, Elland Road faithful are in short, interesting. Let’s say that.
“Look, a chief exec has a job to do. Angus Kinnear had a job to do. If you’re Tyler Adams, and or Sinisterra, and your team gets relegated, and you have an opportunity to play in the Premier League, you play in the Premier League.
“I don’t know what promises were made behind the scenes. And also like, that’s normal. That’s how it goes.
Howard also said that Adams left Elland Road on good terms.
“I don’t expect players. I don’t like it when players down tools, like Isak did over the summer, but that’s kind of the way this is moving on the business side. I would imagine knowing Tyler Adams, he did things in the right way.”
What happened at Elland Road on Saturday
Adams’ name was met with boos when the lineups were being announced before the game. And during the match the home crowd let him hear it any time he touched the ball.
