Wales suffered a frustrating 0-0 draw with Estonia on Wednesday night, with Leeds having both Tyler Roberts and Dan James starting the game.
Tyler Roberts missed a brilliant chance to open the scoring for Wales, but he missed the opportunity just as Leeds fans have seen all to often. Former Wales star Rob Earnshaw had seen enough. “The shot should be bending away from the goalkeeper, into the corner and coming back in.” Earnshaw revealed what he thinks Roberts should have done. “He didn’t do anything with the shot.”
“It’s easy for the goalkeeper because he doesn’t have to move.” Whilst it sounds obvious that shooting straight at the goalkeeper isn’t the best way to score, Roberts has had issues with his finishing throughout his entire career at Leeds. He needs to become more clinical if he wants to make it at Leeds as a Premier League footballer.
