According to LeedsLive, Max Wober has told Leeds United he wants to stay at the club this season.
The defender joined The Whites in January and made an immediate impact on the pitch. His defensive displays stood out in a team that poor throughout the season. Wober’s signing was met with criticism after the club seemed to only sign former Red Bull players for then manager Jesse Marsch. But the defender won over the Elland Road crowd with his performances.
The report says Wober has made it clear that he is ready to stay and fight for promotion this season. This is good news for 49ers Enterprises too, as they were committed to keeping the defender at Elland Road this season.
The £10million January signing still has four years remaining on his current deal.
