There were concerns when Leeds United ended the summer window without signing an attacker on deadline day. Many expected some reinforcements through the door after Daniel Farke made his point recent press conferences.
Last season’s attacking unit has seen a sharp change, with many players having left. Manor Solomon, Patrick Bamford, Mateo Joseph and Largie Ramazani will not be part of the squad for this season. Solomon returned to his parent club, Bamford terminated his contract and Joseph and Ramazani have been allowed to leave on loan by the club.
In came Lukas Nmecha, Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Noah Okafor, who are already causing a few concerns behind the scenes.

Since arriving at Leeds, the former Everton man is yet to start a single game. He has come off the bench against Sheffield Wednesday and Newcastle. Graham Smyth has said what Daniel Farke needs to do with the striker to make sure he’s available for most of this campaign:
“I don’t see why not at this stage. He’s a month into team training, isn’t he? He didn’t have pre-season.” he said on the Inside Elland Road podcast.
“They will be cautious with him because if he breaks down earlier in the season, then the decision to sign him suddenly looks pretty terrible.
“You absolutely have to manage him and you have to make sure that you get the most possible minutes out of him across the season. You can’t just think we need a striker for Fulham.”
Leeds United latest signing also has some issues
Calvert-Lewin is not the only new signing Leeds have to worry about. Journalist Adam Pope has also revealed some interesting things he has heard about Noah Okafor. Mainly that he is reportedly not up to speed when it comes to match fitness:
“Okafor’s interesting, I just read an article about him, how he’s been using this trainer who has been helping him do his own sprinting,” he said.
“There’s a suggestion that he (Okafor) hasn’t been quite at full speed either, so is he the number one pick now, and does Gnonto go back down?”
This new information this week now gives Daniel Farke a bit of a dilemma when selecting future lineups.
Hiow is a player trying to improve his performance a serious issue? And since when does a journalist know more about a player than the manager? Judging by what I read by so called ‘journalists’ most of it is made up or incorrectly copied stuff from other articles and most of it is utter garbage produced only to create advertising space.
