Leeds United returned to action against Burnley on Saturday. Fans expected a huge result unlike the last time the Whites returned from the international break with a loss to Fulham.
Unfortunately, Daniel Farke could not get his second ever career win against Burnley at Turf Moor. The home team surprised the Whites on Saturday with a goal in the first 20 minutes. Leeds failed to answer, missing a lot of chances before a goal from Luom Tchaouna sealed the win.
So many topics emerged from the defeat, including the performance of midfielder Brenden Aaronson. Most fans were frustrated that he even started the game, and him missing a crucial chance to tie the match did not go down well.

Update on Leeds United interest in Gustavo Hamer

According to Football Insider, Leeds will consider a move for Sheffield United’s Gustavo Hamer. However, it is very unlikely that they sign the midfielder in January, but rather in the summer.
“There’ll definitely always be interest in somebody like Hamer. Obviously, thinks haven’t worked out for Sheffield United so far this season. Whether Leeds would be willing to spend the big money that Sheffield United would demand for Hamer that remains to be seen. I’m not too sure.
“I don’t think a move will happen in January for Hamer, I think there’s more of a possibility that it happens in the summer because he’ll have just one year left on his contract. Sheffield United will know obviously if they don’t win promotion, they’re going to have a real fight on their hands to keep hold of Hamer as well.
The Whites need to focus on January
Leeds really need to focus on what they will do in January. The Whites are not in the best of positions after the loss to Burnley, which has raised doubts about where they could finish in the table. The January window is just around the corner, and that is where the club’s attention should be focused on. Daniel Farke’s priority should be adding an attacker who can find the back of the net, not Gustavo Hamer.
