Leeds United will have a much more difficult task this weekend when they come up against Bournemouth. They will be buoyed by their win over Wolverhampton Wanderers last weekend.

But Andoni Iraola’s side pose a bigger threat – the Cherries have not lost a game since the start of the season. And their defesnive record in recent games has been outstanding. Bournemouth have conceded just one goal in their last three games.

Leeds will be hoping that the Elland Road crowd can push them to another huge result in the Premier League.

Former footballer Chris Sutton wrote on his BBC predictions column that he thinks Bournemouth will win the game against Leeds, but cheekily suggested the match could end in a draw.

“I’ve been told I absolutely cannot go for 10 draws this week, which is shame because this game has got draw written all over it,”

“Being serious, I was very impressed by Leeds’ win over Wolves last time out,” he continued.

“It really surprised me, but it was a brilliant result that showed what they have got to offer under Daniel Farke, and that they are going to give it a real go this season.

“Even so, I am backing Bournemouth here. The Cherries were a bit flat against Newcastle last week but they usually create loads of chances and that’s what I am expecting them to do at Elland Road.”

Andoni Iraola is aware of Leeds threat

Ahead of the game, Cherries boss Andoni Iraola has acknowledged the outstanding home record of Leeds. The Whites lost just one game at Elland Road in the Championship last season.

“To spend more than one year without losing a game a home has to be amazing.

“We are going to a place where I think the atmosphere adds.”

“I’ve never played there but everyone you speak with, everyone speaks about the loud atmosphere, the beginning, the pressure,”

So far this season, the club have gotten a huge win over Everton and held Newcastle United to a goalless draw.
