Leeds United star Daniel James believes Whites new boy Manor Solomon has been unlucky with injuries and is sure that fans will love him at Elland Road if he stays fit.

Solomon joined Leeds United on loan from Tottenham towards the end of the summer transfer window and made his debut in their 2-0 win over Hull City just before the international break.

In a man-of-the-match performance, the Israeli registered an assist and some even termed him too good to be playing in the Championship at this stage of his career.

Solomon is looking forward to having a good loan spell at Leeds before returning to his parent club Tottenham at the end of the season.

James is excited to see the winger be part of his own team and believes the Elland Road faithful will end up falling in love with the player this season.

The Leeds star conceded that Manor Solomon has been unlucky with injuries

Solomon joined Tottenham last year but missed almost the entirety of the 2023/24 campaign due to a serious injury and is now looking to rebuild his career in West Yorkshire.

James stressed that the winger is a brilliant player who has the ability to win over the fans with his skills and talent.

However, the Leeds star admitted that injuries have not been kind to his new teammate and is hopeful that he will remain fit at Leeds this season.

“I know Manor well, brilliant player, one that I’m sure the fans will be very excited by”, James said on the Second Tier Podcast

“He’s been very unlucky with injuries. I hope he can stay fit now.”

Tottenham are still banking on Solomon coming good and decided against including an option-to-buy in the loan agreement with Leeds.
The Israeli is almost certain to start when Leeds host Burnley at Elland Road on Saturday.
