Leeds United new boy Largie Ramazani has admitted that he took the risk of leaving Manchester United and join a second-tier side in Spain as he wanted to play more football and had confidence in his talent.
Ramazani spent three years in the Manchester United academy and even featured once in the first team before he left Old Trafford in 2020.
The winger was doing well for the age-group sides at Old Trafford but was struggling to break into the first team when Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was their manager.
The Belgian decided to move on from Old Trafford and joined Almeria who were in the second division of Spain in 2020.
Ramazani made a name for himself in Spain and eventually returned to England this summer when Leeds signed him on a permanent deal.

Ramazani was unlikely to make it at Old Trafford and he stressed that at that stage of his career, he wanted the experience of playing regular first-team football.
The winger insisted that he took the risk of joining a second-tier side in Spain as he had confidence in his ability and was certain that he was going to make it.
“I just wanted the experience and first-team football”, Ramazani told BBC Radio Leeds.
“I wasn’t getting that at United so I thought I am just going to take that risk, go to a second division team in Spain and just make my way out.
“I am confident about my qualities and knew I would make it out.
“I just decided to take the risk and showed myself out there and we got promotion in the second season.”
Ramazani has already been tipped to be a player who could be too hot to handle for Championship defenders this season.
