Leeds finally managed to confirm the signing of Wales international Dan James from Manchester United on Tuesday.
Leeds have been after James for a long time, and almost signed him from Swansea back in January 2019. However, he is now a Leeds United player and the winger took to Twitter to express his happiness at the deal.
“Excited to finally join @LUFC!” James wrote. “I’m looking forward to playing at Elland Road in front of the fans and to start this next chapter in my career!” James will likely make his first appearance after the international break when Leeds take on Liverpool at Elland Road. However, it is likely to be from the bench as there is little chance Marcelo Bielsa will drop Raphinha or Harrison so soon.
