Leeds United are pressing forward with attempts to add more new faces to the squad ahead of the end of the transfer window. The club are working on several deals as they look to strengthen Daniel Farke’s hands before the September 1st deadline.
The club are focused on adding more goals and creativity to their squad this summer, and Farke has insisted that Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s arrival can’t be the last addition to the attack. He wants at least one more striker, apart from a winger and an attacking midfielder.
However, the Leeds boss also revealed that bringing in one more full-back is also on their agenda. Isaac Schmidt wants to leave the Whites and join Werder Bremen on loan. However, the move will not be sanctioned as long as the Whites do not sign another defender for his position.
Leeds have been looking at several full-backs, but the club seem to have settled on James Justin. They are in talks to sign the Leicester City defender before the end of the window.

Journalist reveals James Justin will be joining Leeds United to be a starter

Leeds are in advanced negotiations to sign the Leicester defender in the ongoing transfer window, and a deal worth £6m is likely to be agreed soon.
The defender wants to join Leeds and get another chance at playing in the Premier League in the upcoming season.
However, journalist Graeme Bailey revealed Justin will be joining Leeds to be a starting eleven player and not just a bench option.
Jayden Bogle and Gabriel Gudmundsson are expected to be the full-backs in the team, but Bailey feels the Leicester star is better than both those players.
“I’m told that Justin thinks he comes in and earns a starting spot — be it at left-back or right-back”, Bailey told Leeds United News.
“He isn’t coming in to sit on the bench, and Leeds love that attitude. If Justin gets back to his best, he’d be Leeds’ best full-back, without a doubt.
“Justin’s a high-quality player. Very good. England international. I know Leeds fans like Jayden Bogle an awful lot, but he could come in and challenge on both sides.
“With [Gabriel] Gudmundsson as well, Leeds have three full-backs of real quality, but I believe he’s better than their current starting pair. I think he is better than Bogle and Gudmundsson.”
Justin can play on both flanks
Predominantly a right-back, the defender can also operate on the left-back, and Leeds are big admirers of the versatility he will bring to the team.
He is comfortable in both positions, and played just a few more games at right-back (123) than as a left-back (108). The Leicester star can also provide cover at centre-back.
Jayden Bogle was the undisputed starter at right-back for Leeds last season, and Gudmundsson has been brought in to replace Junior Firpo.
However, Justin’s imminent arrival could shake things up in defence for Leeds in the Premier League.
