Social media has somewhat erupted following the news earlier today that Pascal Struijk’s 3 game suspension would be upheld.
Public figures ranging from the likes of Marco Van Basten and Trevor Sinclair all the way to Harvey Elliott himself have pointed out that the FA have made the incorrect decision. the latest to speak up though is none other than Leeds United chairman Andrea Radrizzani himself.
Radrizzani commented on a tweet from The Athletic writer Phil Hay, saying ‘Inexplicable! Even the unlucky Elliott said clearly it was not a foul. It is human to commit a mistake during the game but when we do have VAR and time to evaluate and make a rational decision, that s very hard to accept.”

It’s fair to say Andrea is not best pleased with the decision, as he also commented on a tweet from Sky Sports which simply reads ‘unfair.’ It is unclear whether Leeds will or can take further action with this, but it is clear that the higher ups at Elland Road aren’t pleased with the FA right now.
Unfair.
