According to Italian journalist Alfredo Pedullà, Inter Milan are still ‘dreaming’ about Wilfried Gnonto returning to the club.
Gnonto began his career at Inter Milan’s youth sides before departing to join FC Zurich in Switzerland. He only lasted two years with the Swiss side before being snapped up by Leeds for around €3million.
The young forward had a decent debut campaign for The Whites, scoring four goals and providing four assists in his debut season at Elland Road. Gnonto put many clubs on notice including the likes of Everton, Juventus and most recently Inter Milan.
Any deal for Inter would be complicated as they seek to offload Joaquin Correa before pursuing Gnonto. According to Sportitalia, any potential deal for the teenager would be a loan with a buy option.
