For weeks now Leeds United have been courting impressive midfielder Nahitan Nandez, but now that the 25-year-old is back in Italy after the Copa America, the Whites are ready to make their play.
According to Italian paper Centro Trentuno Leeds United’s sporting director Victor Orta has flown to Sardinia to seal the deal and bring the midfielder to Yorkshire.
Orta is set to build of the positive relationship between the two clubs to acquire the player’s services with a deal expected within the “next few hours” undoubtedly leaving plenty of Leeds fans excited as their midfield pursuit comes to a close as the wrap up their number one target.
Nandez has impressed in Serie A since joining Cagliari in 2019 but now looks set to take the Premier League by storm whilst offering United brilliant depth in their midfield ranks.
