Leeds United seem to have a plan for the next couple of weeks. Daniel Farke and the recruitment team have lined up some significant additions.
The plan seems to be strengthening the spine of the team. And reports over the last few days indicate that. Leeds are preparing moves for a central defender, a central midfielder and a new striker.
L’Equipe reported that the Whites had sent in a huge bid for Strasbourg midfielder Habib Diarra. The club seem keen on adding the dynamic, box-to-box Senegalese star to the squad. Leeds have also discussed a move for Everton striker Beto. The club had previously been linked with the Everton man earlier this year, and have now re-ignited their interest.

At centerback, Slovenian international Jaka Bijol seems to be the main target. And according to sources at Elland Road, there is huge confidence that a move can be completed this summer. A fee around £18 to 19million has been mentioned.
Bijol’s Udinese teammate Sandi Lovric recently spoke to TuttoMercatoWeb, saying that he hopes the club keeps their best players for next season. That includes Jaka Bijol and Lorenzo Lucca, both players have been linked with moves away from Italy:
“Having them still with us is important, we are talking about very important players. Two starters, but I don’t know what they will do this summer. But for now they are still our players. Let’s see what happens.”
Bijol would be a great addition
Bijol comes in as a security measure for the club. After recent news came out that Leeds are keen on moving on from Max Wober. Adding Bijol strengthens a defence that already has Pascal Struijk and Joe Rodon. All three players could also fit in a back three system if Daniel Farke decides to show some tactical flexibility.
