Leeds United fans have many reasons to be excited about the future, mainly due to the current crop of youth players shining in the under 23s.
One such player is Dutch winger Crysencio Summerville, who was handed his Leeds debut a few weeks ago in the 1-1 draw with Newcastle. Summerville has been a revelation in the under 23s since arriving at the club last summer.
Jamie Shackleton had plenty to say about the 19 year old as well, admitting that he’s a ‘nightmare to mark’ in training. “He’s really sharp. For his size he’s very, very strong. I do my best to keep up with him and the other wingers.”
We’ve seen that Shackleton is agile and full of energy himself, so for him to admit this about Summerville says quite a lot about his talents.
