Joe Rodon open to long term stay at Leeds United

Leeds United defender Joe Rodon says he is enjoying his time at the club this season.

The Welshman has been part of a stubborn Leeds defence that has shut out most opponents this season – no team in the Championship has had more clean sheets than the Whites this season. Leeds have also conceded the 2nd least goals this season.

Rodon’s displays this season have seen him win over the Elland Road crowd, something he admits has helped him adjust to life at the club:

“I am really enjoying it here.”

“As the weeks have gone on, it has got better and better for me, and for the group as well.

“I feel we are improving week by week and that is important, with the targets and journey we are on, we’re getting better each game and the results are coming our way.”

The 25-year old is also optimistic about Leeds’ chances this season:

“It’s a long season, there’s a lot of games, so I’m looking forward to Saturday now and hopefully we can get three points on the board again.

“It’s going to be a tough game, every game in this league is going to be tough. It’s a different challenge but we’re all looking forward to it.”

Leeds United take on Norwich City on Saturday afternoon.
