When Junior Firpo joined Leeds United last summer, it seemed like a good deal for all parties involved. Leeds get a new left back, Barcelona get some much needed funds, and Firpo gets a fresh start away from a club that never gave him a chance.
It’s become clear recently that Firpo still doesn’t feel too fondly about his time at Barcelona, as he liked a tweet last week that was criticising Barcelona manager Ronald Koeman.
Barcelona suffered an embarrassing 3-0 defeat to Benfica in the Champions League last week, but that wasn’t the end of it. Ronald Koeman went on to do a post-match interview where he claimed his side weren’t as poor as the result suggested.
Firpo then liked a tweet which translated to ‘Why do certain coaches see something in their team that the rest of us mortals don’t? We’ve had more chances having made a whopping ZERO shots on goal. It’s just crazy.’

I think it’s fair to say that Junior Firpo doesn’t hold Koeman in the highest regard.
