Leeds United have made a decent start to the Premier League season, with seven points from their opening five games. The Whites are being backed to buck the trend of promoted teams struggling to stay up and survive in their first season back in the top flight.
A scintillating 14 minutes of football in the first half against Wolves has changed the narrative around Leeds this season. Three goals during the blistering period not only earned the Whites the three points at Molineux, but they also dramatically altered the outlook of the campaign.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Anton Stach and Noah Okafor scored their first goals for the club on Saturday, and the result has massively boosted the confidence of the Leeds players ahead of the home game against Bournemouth this weekend.
Leeds are relying on a few players to come good this season to ensure they survive in the Premier League, and Simon Jordan has revealed how to get the best out of one of them.
Simon Jordan praises Dominic Calvert-Lewin while taking a dig at his fashion choice

Leeds have gambled big on the 28-year-old striker this season, and are hoping that he bucks the trend of recent seasons and stays fit to lead the line for most of the campaign.
Calvert-Lewin also has something to prove after scoring just 18 goals in his last four Premier League seasons, and is keen to find his old self back at Elland Road.
He came under fire a few years back when he was seen clutching a handbag in a fashion shoot during his Everton days, and that image has not escaped him.
Jordan took a dig at him while talking about his performance for Leeds last weekend. However, he feels that if Leeds can keep him fit, the former Everton man will score goals.
“Keep him fit”, Jordan said on talkSPORT.
“Keep his handbag out of a commission, and he’ll score a few goals for you.”
Calvert-Lewin has something to prove at Leeds
Leeds signed Calvert-Lewin on a free transfer in the summer, and Simon Jordan famously termed him ‘crock‘ and quipped that the Whites signed one injury-prone player to replace another one in Patrick Bamford.
He and Leeds have a lot of doubters, and one goal against the worst side in the Premier League this season will not change the narrative.
The former Everton man needs to find a way to remain fit and playing in most of the games for Leeds to change the outlook towards him.
If Calvert-Lewin can score the goals that fire Leeds towards Premier League safety, several observers will have to eat humble pie at the end of the season.
Can you name the team Leeds United signed these players from in the 2000s?
