The chief football writer of the Yorkshire Evening Post, Graham Smyth, has claimed that Leeds United new boy Largie Ramazani showed in his cameo against Hull City that he could be too hot to handle for Championship-level defenders this season.
Leeds snapped up the former Manchester United academy player from UD Almeria on a permanent deal last week and he made his debut for the Whites in their 2-0 win over Hull City on Saturday.
Ramazani came on in the second half and looked skilful, sharp and focused in a 16-minute cameo against the Tigers as the Elland Road faithful got their first glimpse of the club’s summer signing.
Graham Smyth hailed Largie Ramazani and his ability, which he feels could bamboozle Championship defenders
Leeds new boy Manor Solomon caught the eye in the win over Hull and has already been hailed as a player who could be too good to play in the Championship.
Ramazani also showed glimpses of his talent with his cameo towards the end of the game and Smyth insisted that the winger looked top-drawer against Hull.
The Leeds observer insisted that in the cameo the Belgian showed enough to suggest that he could be too hot to handle for defenders in the Championship this season.
“Largie Ramazani looked really sharp when he came on”, Smyth said on the Square Ball.
“I know it is only a cameo but I thought he is going to have a bit too much in terms of explosivity and pace for some of the defenders in the league.”
One more Leeds summer arrival has been termed as the ‘bargain of the summer’.
Graham Smyth also picked out Ao Tanaka, who joined Leeds from Fortuna Dusseldorf on deadline day, for praise and feels he could prove to be the bargain of the transfer window for the Whites.
“Tanaka as well, I think he could be the bargain of the summer”, the Yorkshire Evening Post journalist continued.
“He is tidy.”
