Leeds United and Fulham are both interested in signing Coventry City’s Gustavo Hamer.
Leeds are in the market as they look to recruit to strengthen their side for the promotion push. After hiring Daniel Farke, the club is determined to fill out the squad with enough quality to contest in the league this season.
The Athletic revealed that Coventry City midfielder Gustavo Hamer tops a list of targets for The Whites this summer. Hamer is being courted by multiple teams after his impressive displays led Sky Blues to the play-off final.
According to journalist Dean Jones, Leeds have serious interest in signing the 26-year old:
“I think it’s Leeds who are actively looking at him right now, and we would have the jump on them. I was told by someone at Leeds that that was genuine interest from them and they have been pursuing it, if that’s your main competition for someone like Hamer then there is a lot of sense in seeing if you can get something done.”
