Daniel Farke says he was happy with Georginio Rutter’s performance against Watford.
The French forward has hit a decent run of form and has quickly become one of the first names on the team sheet for Leeds United. This is a stark contrast from last season where he was criticised for not being able to impact the club as their record signing.
Two goals and two assists so far this season has shown the players quality. The 21-year old has formed a great partnership with Joel Piroe.
Farke says he is happy to see that Rutter has found a good balance to his game:
“We can all be happy with Georgie today. Work ethic and quality. Works hard and wins the ball back. Linnks the play. Important he does not enjoy himself too much, play pragmatic football. Before we celebrate and enjoy we concentrate on scoring the goal.
“Criticised him a little at half-time, but great assists and a top-class performance in the second half. Enjoy your football, but do not go over the line and make it embarrassing for the opponent. He found good balance.”
The Whites are away to Southampton in the league next weekend.
