Leeds close to securing deal for exciting attacker

Very few nations reliably produce attacking talent like Brazil. Across world football stars like Neymar, Gabriel Jesus and Roberto Firmino have dominated their respective leagues winning European Cups and domestic trophies at an impressive rate.

Then you consider the quality Leeds’ own Brazilian Raphinha has shown since joining last summer. The winger has quickly become one of the best attackers in the league and has attracted interest from former Premier League Champions Liverpool.

Leeds look likely to keep their Brazilian talisman, but could also be set to bring in another exciting Brazilian prospect in the shape of Matheus Cunha.

The Under 23s international has already played in Europe’s biggest competition making his Champions League debut whilst at RB Leipzig before impressing last year at Hertha Berlin.

According to reports, he could be set to swap Berlin for West Yorkshire as he hopes to guide Leeds United to European football once again.

A report from Italian journalist Rudy Galetti suggests Leeds are very close to securing a £23.2 million deal for the Brazilian forward. In fact, in a tweet this week he claimed the Whites were just “one step away” from wrapping up the deal and reinforcing their attacking options for next year.
