Leeds United have been in the market for a new keeper in recent weeks following the departure of Kiko Casilla. However, they have now wrapped up his replacement.
This morning the club announced the signing of Norwegian Under 21 international Kristoffer Klaesson for an undisclosed fee.
The shot-stopper has signed a four year deal which will keep him at the club until 2025 and it’s thought that he could be the perfect deputy to first choice keeper Illan Meslier especially after he impressed in over 50 appearances for former club Valerenga.
He’s Leeds’ second major signing of the summer following the capture of Junior Firpo from Barcelona as Leeds prepare for an assault on European football in their second season back in the top flight.
