According to The Athletic, Leeds are strongly considering hiring Sam Allardyce as Javi Gracia’s position at the club is clouded in uncertainty.
Allardyce could return to management in the Premier League for the first time since 2021. Leeds United are strongly considering the former England boss after taking one point from their past five matches.
🚨 Sam Allardyce firmly in the frame for the Leeds United job if, as expected, Javi Gracia is sacked. Gracia still in post but time appears to be up. Allardyce being seriously considered for the last four games.

The Whites sit in 17th place tonight following Leicester City’s 2-2 draw with Everton. Concerns have risen that head coach Javi Gracia could be sacked after the 4-1 defeat to Bournemouth on Sunday. The Spaniard has only been in charge at Elland Road for over two months, appointed in February as successor to Jesse Marsch. The display at Bournemouth and the recent poor form of the team may see him dismissed soon.
Gracia is still Leeds head coach for the meantime, with players due to return to training on Tuesday morning, but the board at Elland Road have spent the past 24 hours considering their next move.
