According to Phil Hay, Rasmus Kristensen’s proposed move to AS Roma has stalled.
The Danish international was set to be the latest name out of the door at Elland Road, but recent developments have seen the move fail to progress. Hay reports that the Italian club are seeking more “diplomatic and friendly” terms to the deal similar to the one for Diego Llorente.
Hay says the deal has stalled for now even though Roma still have interest in the player:
“Though the others in the background, we wait to see what happens with Rasmus Kristensen and Roma,”
“They do like him but that doesn’t seem to have moved forward yet in the way Llorente to Roma has.”
Kristensen joined the Whites for a reported €13 million last summer.
