Leeds United have now gone unbeaten against Everton after the result on Monday night. The Whites continue their quest for survival in the Premier League this season.
Many expected Daniel Farke’s side to be battling relegation at this point, but the team have done well to keep their heads above water for most of the campaign. Leeds had an incredible turnaround in December, when the team changed their system and their style. Farke’s new 3-5-2 system has maximized the current players in the team and the results have been obvious.
The Whites have lost just one game in their last 10 fixtures in all competitions. Some fans may feel that the team are playing too many draws, but each point has been very crucial in the quest for survival.
David Moyes deliver honest Leeds United verdict after Everton draw
Monday night saw Leeds United record another huge away result when they faced Everton. The club had a poor record on the road at the start of the season, but have now lost just once in their last five games. Jamie Carragher mentioned during the game that Leeds ‘looked like Real Madrid‘, and now David Moyes has given his verdict on the match.

The Everton boss says Leeds were the better side and that he was ‘disappointed’ in how his side fared:
“Really disappointed with how we played in the first half, generally how we set up didn’t really work as well as we’d have liked.
“Second half, much better, pleased, didn’t look like there was a goal coming, but we got one in the end, and maybe a bit unfortunate to not get a second one.
“Leeds I thought were first to more balls than we were, picked up first balls, second balls, I didn’t think we competed well and it’s not like us and just all round we lacked that something that would’ve made the difference.”
Survival is very achievable for the Whites
Fans will be happy that Leeds United are consistently racking up the points. The team have not won a lot, but avoiding losses at this point of the season is also a very good thing. Daniel Farke and the team deserve a lot of credit with how far they have come this season. Hopefully the 49ers can complete their move for Jorgen Strand Larsen and add some real quality to the team to allow them to have a fighting chance for the rest of the campaign.
