According to Fabrizio Romano, Leeds are in advanced talks to sign Newcastle keeper Karl Darlow on a permanent deal.
The Whites have been on the search for a new number one after Joel Robles officially left the club after being released.
Current number one Illan Meslier is in a shaky situation at the club, he was benched at the end of the season as Leeds were relegated.

Bournemouth agreeing a deal for Inter Milan keeper Andrei Radu opened the door for Leeds United. The club did not previously think they would get their hands on the Englishman as all signs pointed to him joining the Cherries.
The 32-year old could become Leeds’ second signing this summer.
