Leeds United youngster Harry Gray has been in and around the first team in the past few weeks. The Whites had problems in attack to start the season, which lead to fans calling for the teenage striker to make the squad.
His hat-trick in the National League Cup against Scunthorpe caught the attention of local and national media. Gray was named on the bench for the Wolves game, but Leeds’ attack started firing and scored three goals in the game.
In a few weeks, the club will have to make a very important decision that could determine their future.

Harry Gray turns 17 in a couple of weeks, and Leeds United will offer him a new contract. Graeme Bailey has revealed that people around the Cresswells and Grays have played a huge part in convincing him to stay at Elland Road. Archie Gray successfully came through the system and so did Charlie Cresswell and Alfie Cresswell.
“They’re very close with people like the Cresswells and Grays who run him. It’s a very good relationship Leeds have got with them.
“They think, at the moment, Leeds is the best place for him. He’s very happy there.
“He’s been more involved with the first-team. Leeds love him. You know, there’s always been this thing of, ‘is he going to be better than his brother’ and that sort of thing etc. So, they are desperate to keep him.”
Bailey also told Leeds fans that he has heard a lot of good news about the upcoming contract.
“From what I’m told, Leeds believe he will sign. There is interest elsewhere, though. You know, if Harry Gray suddenly came on Instagram saying, ‘I’m leaving Leeds’, he would literally have his pick of a number of clubs but he’s not going to do that.
“Leeds are very happy with him. From what I’m told, he’s very happy at Leeds. He will be signing that contract next month.”
Leeds United could have another star on their hands
