Leeds United brought in 10 new players this summer, and the team they have began the season with is a whole different group than they had in the Championship. The Whites made some crucial additions in defence and midfield.
Fans cried out for investment in attack, but only three new signings were added. Noah Okafor joined from AC Milan and Lukas Nmecha and Dominic Calvert-Lewin joined on free transfers. During the pre-season, Daniel Farke also made the bold decision to keep Jack Harrison – the Leeds boss said the club could do with his Premier League experience.
With four players now added to the team, some of the current options had to make way. Joe Gelhardt, Mateo Joseph and Largie Ramazani were shipped out on loan and Patrick Bamford’s contract with the club was mutually terminated.

Loaning out Largie Ramazani came as a bit of a shock to the fans. The Belgian ended last season well, and his cameos showed a lot of potential – the winger had six goals and two assists in the Championshio. Then when the season began, he was left out of a matchday squad, with Daniel Farke revealing that a move was being worked on.
The Belgian joined Valencia on a season-long loan. He has had a mixed start, but has now been dealt a hue blow. Valencia have confirmed that the winger has an injury to the quadriceps of his right leg. Ramazani is now set for a spell on the sidelines indefinitely – the Spanish club state that he will undergo physiotherapy and readaptation treatment until he shows ‘clinical improvement.’

The 24-year old grabbed an assist on his debut for the La Liga side after just three minutes off the bench. Ramazani has failed to register a goal contribution in the last five games he has been available for.

He has only played a total of 103 minutes and is yet to start a game for the club. The Winger’s numbers are not that impressive, which could see him struggle to break into the starting lineup when he eventually recovers from injury.
