Football Insider has revealed that Leeds sensation Crysencio Summerville was the target of numerous global clubs during the summer transfer window.
Swansea City, Club Brugge (Belgium) and Groningen and Heerenveen (both Netherlands) were all looking to sign the 19-year-old either on-loan or permanent transfer.
But, Leeds United boss Marcelo Bielsa is apparently a big fan of the ex-Feyenoord winger and wants to blood him slowly into the first-team in the near future.
Summerville has been included in the matchday squad for all three of the Whites’ Premier League games so far after being promoted from the under-23s following appearances in pre-season friendlies against Guiseley, Fleetwood Town and Ajax.
He registered six goals and seven assists in 14 appearances across all competitions for the Whites’ youth side last season.
