Leeds United have already made significant steps this summer to enhance their youth teams.
The likes of Lewis Bate, Sean McGurk and Amari Miller have been brought into the club to enhance the Under 23s team establishing a positive future at Elland Road.
However, one youngster who won’t be a part of the bright future at Leeds United is Brooklyn Nfonkeu who is now set to join Premier League Champions Manchester City.
According to Football Insider, City and Leeds have agreed a deal which will see Nfonkeu swap West Yorkshire for Lancashire in the coming days.
The promising youngster has impressed in his three-and-a-half-year spell with Leeds United in which he starred for the Under 15s. However, his time is now up with City making a move for the youngster after being impressed by his recent performances.
It’s a disappointing development but the arrival of other starlets like Bate should make Leeds fans optimistic for the future.
