Leeds United are set to miss out on a deal for Fulham talent Fabio Carvalho, with reports that he will sign a new deal at Craven Cottage.
The teenage sensation has forced big sides to sit up and take note following his impressive form in the under-23s, but Carvalho looks to remain a Fulham player – if just for the time being at least.
The Daily Mail had previously reported that the 19-year-old was stalling in talks with Fulham over a new contract as Leeds, West Ham, and Norwich circled.
Carvalho only signed a professional football contract in May 2020 and that deal was set to expire at the end of the 2021/22 season.
However, Leeds, West Ham and Norwich look to have missed out on the midfielder, following reports from TEAMtalk that Fulham are confident of tying the Portuguese-born creator down.
