Spanish striker Rafa Mujica is targeting a permanent exit from Leeds United, according to La Provincia.
The 22-year-old signed for the Whites from Barcelona’s B Team in July 2019 but is now on his fourth loan move back to Spain, currently playing for Las Palmas.
Mujica has failed to play a single competitive game since joining Marcelo Bielsa’s side, with previous loan spells seeing him represent Extremadura, Villarreal B and Oviedo.
However, his latest loan move is providing positive results and now the player reportedly sees his future away from West Yorkshire.
Having impressed since joining Las Palmas, scoring on his debut, the Spanish Segunda outfit are already contemplating making an offer in the summer to secure a permanent transfer.
Mujica’s contract at Leeds expires at the end of the 2021/22 season, meaning it’s likely the Premier League club’s hierarchy will be open to offers for the former Spain U19’s forward.
Despite Bielsa appearing to have a shortage of recognised strikers at his disposal, it appears Mujica is on his way out of the club with ex-Arsenal front man Sam Greenwood the preferred option to be Patrick Bamford’s backup next season.
