According to Fabrizio Romano, Leeds United have submitted the final bid for Rangers midfielder Glenn Kamara as they push to complete the deal.
The Finland international has been a priority target for the club since the departure of Tyler Adams to Bournemouth. As it stands, Leeds have one senior midfielder with top-level experience in Ethan Ampadu. Kamara, who is 27, is expected to bring a level head to the club’s midfield depth.

Fabrizio Romano expects the deal to be completed by the end of this week. The clubs are still in negotiations over the fee and a few final details. Kamara has given the greenlight and is ready to move to Elland Road. The player has not featured in three of Rangers’ last four games as he seeks to complete his move. Rangers boss Michael Beale said recently in an interview that all parties have agreed to sort out the transfer deal.
“We were expecting Glen to move this summer. It was his wish as well. I wasn’t in the mood to persuade anyone to play for Rangers. It has to be the right club and valuation. He has been an excellent signing, but I want different here.” Beale said.
Kamara is no stranger to English football, having played at Southend and Colchester United before moving to Scotland. The 27-year-old has made over 118 appearances for the SPFL side, having won the league and Scottish cup. Kamara was voted Finnish footballer of the Year for 2022.
