Leeds to go all out for 22-year-old in January

Leeds United will return for Lewis O’Brien in the January transfer window after failing to sign him this summer, according to Kevin Campbell.

The former Arsenal hero reacted to recent quotes from Victor Orta. about Leeds and Huddersfield Town unable to reach an agreement on price.

But, Campbell predicts that there is enough money to purchase O’Brien.

The money is there,” Campbell told Football Insider.

“Sometimes these transfers are to fatten your squad up. The player might not go into the starting 11 straight away.

“£8million to fatten the squad when Leeds actually have players who can do a job, maybe it wasn’t the priority.

“Maybe they will bide their time and return for him in January.”
