Leeds United came into this season reeling from the Championship Play-off final loss in the summer. The Whites lost out on a place in the Premier League to Southampton.
That summer saw an exodus of players, after the club failed to reach the Premier League. Leeds were powerless to stop top clubs from poaching Archie Gray, Crysencio Summerville and Georginio Rutter. Despite earning huge funds from these transfers, the club was slow to bring new faces in.
It was very late in the window before Leeds began to bring in new signings before the start of the season.

One of the transfers that stood out was acquiring Jayden Bogle from rivals Sheffield United. The transfer did not go down well with Blades boss Chris Wilder. Wilder was so frustrated with the deal, he publicly criticized Leeds when they tried to sign Gustavo Hamer. The deal eventually fell through.
Bogle joined Leeds for around £5million in the summer, and has never looked back. A club that had been crying out for a long-term fullback finally found their answer. 41 games played, six goals and three assists are numbers some of the best fullbacks in the country can only dream of.
Daniel Farke’s decision may give Leeds United hundreds of millions when they earn promotion. The Whites now have a 99% chance of playing Premier League football.
Jayden Bogle has arguably been Leed’s best player this season
There is a case to be made that Bogle has been one of the best players in the team this season. After scoring the goal that won the game against Preston, he set up the only goal of the game against Oxford United on Friday night.

Jayden Bogle is statistically the best attacking fullback in the Championship this season. According to FotMob, he ranks in the top 10 for goals, chances created, tackles won and successful dribbles for fullbacks in the division.
If Leeds make the Premier League, they owe a lot to the dynamic right back.
