Last weekend marked the last pre-season game for Leeds United. The Whites faced AC Milan in a tough game that ended up in a stalemate.

But a strange series of incidents occurred during the match. When Jack Harrison was subbed on, he was booed with every touch of the ball. This came as a bit of a shock as the forward had not experienced this in the previous friendlies.

Jack Harrison is part of Leeds’ plans for this season according to Daniel Farke. And after the game, the Head coach had this to say about the boos that rang out in the stadium.

“Jack has all the chances (to win back the fans). Our supporters don’t need my message. This will be a natural thing once he delivers good performances.”

On Monday night, Harrison could very well step on the pitch against the club he spent two seasons on loan at. The forward was even linked with a move this summer, but looking at the business Everton have done, it looks very unlikely.

Daniel Farke was once again asked about Jack Harrison, and he complemented the 28-year old:

”Jack is a proven Premier League player, a good age, top character, and hard working.”

”Everyone has a chance, with good work, good performances, to win the trust of supporters back. Jack has already won the staff and players back because his behaviour was top class, he’s working very hard and is an unbelievably nice teammate. Right now it’s up to him. With good performances and hard work win the trust of supporters back.”

Harrison could play a key part this season

Jack Harrison could be a big part of this season. With Leeds struggling to get a new winger in, the club could depend on the 28-year old this season. Last year, he showed he can still play at the top level with Everton. Maybe he might surprise everyone and rediscover the form from the last time Leeds were promoted.
