Leeds United are set to move fast in the transfer window after the events of this week. The club completed their first signing of the summer on Sunday.
Lukas Nmecha will join the West Yorkshire side on a free transfer next month. Now, Leeds have some depth in attacking positions, and can focus on other areas of the squad. Reports also suggest that a deal could be completed for Udinese defender Jaka Bijol, who is set to fly to England in the coming days.

The Whites are also expected to add some faces in midfield later this month. Strasbourg midfielder Habib Diarra is still on the table, as the French side negotiate a transfer. A move is very likely, after the Ligue 1 side’s President revealed that the club is open to selling the Senegalese international.
Leeds could make this a double swoop, as Aston Villa make Emi Buendia available for sale this summer. Leeds are one of the main sides interested in the attacking midfielder. A fee of £20million has been rumoured, but with Villa facing PSR sanctions, a deal can be worked out for less.
Leeds bolster midfield options
Daniel Farke has been crying out for some dynamic attacking options since last year. Emi Buendia could offer just that; the Aston Villa attacker still provides some value at his age. The Argentine attacking midfielder will provide serious competition for Brenden Aaronson in the number 10 role. Buendia offers more creativity, and can make moments happen on the ball, while the American offers more work rate and presence in the box.
Habib Diarra also offers something different from the current midfield option. The Strasbourg man offers box to box presence, and dynamism in the middle of the park. He would compliment the likes of Ethan Ampadu and Ao Tanaka perfectly in midfield.
